Hocevar fanbase doesn’t understand that it’s perfectly normal to root against a driver if they wreck your favorite driver or cause crashes and you don’t like it

he is objectively entertaining, but that doesn’t mean you have to like them. They take it personally like a sin that some people dont like him. Most other fanbases can simply say “well that’s fine, I still like him even though he causes wrecks” but understand why others don’t and move on with their day
