Generation Up Fresno Chapter is a student-led youth advocacy group. They along with @FresnoBarrios are hosting a townhall, THIS FRIDAY, to get input from the community and students about what they would like to see on a “Student Bill of Rights” in @fresnounified

The Student Bill of Rights will be written to help students address their rights and freedoms which they feel are not being acknowledged by the public educational system.

This summer I worked with civil rights icons to engage students in virtual #ethnicstudies lessons & our youth felt empowered seeing themselves in curriculum. @AsmJoseMedina's #AB331 will do the same for more CA students & I applaud the #CaLeg for sending it to Gov @GavinNewsom.
