@Zinkst_ why is everyone so uneducated. it’s normal. vaginas are acidic they produce a similar effect as bleach in underwear. it is NOT a hygiene problem. they are self cleaning and this is NORMAL. please stop lying and scaring women and girls into thinking somethings wrong with them
@ThomGoubert@FRSkyRRoZ people are clearly satisfied with the movie so i agree but from and adaptation pov i don’t see how it’s able to tell the whole story properly when it missed out that much. i agree though
@ThomGoubert@FRSkyRRoZ my point is the movie doesn’t show the story in its entirety and therefore you can’t understand it properly without auxiliary sources
@benav34286@Barbiehlld he doesn’t even reference Anticleia in the movie which means we lose one of the most human and touching reunions in the whole poem
@benav34286@Barbiehlld its a beautiful moment in the epic and wasn’t really done justice in the movie. in the book telemachus fights his immaturity and loses faith in Od being his father in the first place. when he realises Od has returned it shows T’s growth and O’s nostos…
@benav34286@Barbiehlld “telemachus flings his arms around the neck of his father” they share a gorgeous human moment which wasn’t shown by nolan despite Homer filling the epic with multiple reunion scenes eg: Argos, Eurycleia, Penelope, Anticleia
@Easyy_ you have got to be taking the piss. zeus plays such a small role in the story of the odyssey. what nolan calls “zeus’ law” is just xenia, Poseidon is odysseus’ main enemy in the story but dogshit nolan decided to ignore him even though he’s 80% of the epic
@dfw_ella_ i’m not blaming her but how circe was adapted for the film was not good. Homer described her as an ethereal mysterious woman who can cast spells etc. nolan turned her into the stereotypical ugly medieval witch
