Hi there! Any news about #DV2023 ? As a #DV2022 loser, I wonder whether #DV2023 will be like #DV2023 for Iranians, especially those who have chosen #AbuDhabi embassy?

@curtismorrison @kccldrm The problem is that these people are claiming that they went to Mumbai and insist on getting interview in-person!
It is not the matter of case number here, it is about people insisting in‐person, thereby getting interview out of the queue! Even rank number that they tell us!

@curtismorrison we have been informed that a number of Iranian and Turkish cases went to the Mumbai embassy without an invitation from KCC😡, and then, under the insistence and pressure of the embassy, the KCC sent 2nl for them and now they have received visas.
Is this legal? 😭Definitely not,

Also in this hearing, @StateDept Legal Adviser Joseph Carilli suggested that the State Department encouraged #DV2022 selectees to submit documents as early in the fiscal year as possible. I'll be talking to our legal team and plaintiffs about a potential motion for sanctions.

In a hearing this morning before Judge Contreras, @StateDept Legal Adviser Joseph Carilli claimed the department has used over 51k diversity visas for FY-2022. The claim was nestled between multiple misrepresentations about the facts and the law, so who knows if it is true. 🤷‍♂️
