All had 10mil cover like yours, I'd just apply a few more times and maybe highlight the parts that matter if you can. (literally with a highlighter or a ring around the text in paint, whatever is easiest for you)

To those still having issues; if you are entering Thailand using a visa exemption make sure you aren't putting down more than is allowed by your country. The UK is 30, I know some other countries are more.
