A ver si en el fútbol colombiano nos damos cuenta que los tiempos hoy en el fútbol internacional van a otra velocidad, y que los jóvenes con talento tiene que llegar más rápido a las selecciones.

No es ponerlos por ponerlos, claro que necesitan acompañamiento y respaldo. Pero hay que vincularlos y darles oportunidades a lo que muestren talento, y ayudarlos a madurar.

🇨🇴❌🇦🇷 | Más allá de las polémicas arbitrales y las teorías de conspiración, quizás lo que Colombia debería sentir por Argentina no es rencor ni envidia, sino admiración por la mentalidad competitiva que ha construido durante años.

El problema de Colombia no parece ser el talento. La Selección cuenta con futbolistas de gran nivel, pero cuando llegan esos partidos que marcan la historia, casi nunca aparece el jugador capaz de cambiar el destino del encuentro con una acción decisiva.
El mejor ejemplo está en la delantera. Julián Álvarez mantiene un rendimiento sobresaliente tanto en su club como con la Selección Argentina, y en este Mundial volvió a responder cuando más se le necesitaba. En contraste, Luis Suárez ha sido una de las figuras del fútbol portugués, pero no logró trasladar ese nivel a la Selección Colombia durante la Copa del Mundo.
Las grandes selecciones no se construyen únicamente con calidad.

También necesitan carácter, personalidad, una mentalidad ganadora y futbolistas que asuman la responsabilidad cuando la presión es máxima. Esa es una diferencia que Colombia todavía debe cerrar si quiere dar el salto definitivo hacia los títulos.

It has been widely discussed, and I think it deserves a calm and honest explanation rather than emotional reactions.”

“First of all, I understand what he was trying to express. In modern football, players often talk about equality, teamwork, and collective responsibility. That mindset is important in any successful team because no single player can win matches alone.”
