“Make sure 911 is called now.” Some of the first instructions when you open an #AED. You can start CPR, you can apply the AED, but if nobody calls 911 then you won’t have help coming to you!

Took a few minutes to spend a little time practicing skills on this #StopTheBLeed Day. We proudly offer this training to our faculty/staff each year and have this equipment located throughout the @BishopLynch campus. It’s another thing we’re prepared for but hope we never need!
Today and everyday, we are thankful for our school nurse! We are #BLessed to have Ms Barton serving the @BishopLynch community! And as ATs, we are so fortunate to have an ally in #SchoolHealth! #IGNITE@BishopLynch
New technology in the athletic training room today. The ActivForce 2 dynamometer is used for measuring muscle strength and range of motion. It will give us more objective measurements as we get #BLFriars back to sport! @activforce
Learning skills that save lives ❤️
Our Honors Anatomy & Physiology class is gaining hands-on experience with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation—because it’s never too early to be prepared to make a difference. #IGNITE
Sports Medicine class learning some hands on skills today. Spine boarding and vacuum splinting. And a little bit of teamwork and problem solving too! #IGNITE
Due to game schedules, the Athletic Training Room will close at 4:15PM tomorrow, Tuesday April 7th. After that time, you can find Coach Hopper over at JV Baseball. @blathletics
A save in northwest Louisiana💛
A Benton High track athlete went into cardiac arrest before practice on Feb.
His coach called for help, the school nurse began chest compressions & AED-trained staffers brought the device. #SaferSidelines

Today we’re thankful for the athletic trainers in TAPPs 6A North. Our schools have made athlete safety a priority by having at least 2 full time ATs on staff. We know that when our teams travel to those schools they are going to be cared for. #CareYouCanCountOn#AT4ALL#NATM2026
Our final Staff Sunday is Jordan Hart! Jordan has been on our staff a short time, but she’s been a Friar for a long time, Class of 2004! Jordan is our part time AT, but she brings a wealth of unique knowledge and skills to our staff! #NATM2026#CareYouCanCountOn#AT4ALL
This Athletic Training Month, we celebrate our incredible athletic trainers for their dedication, care, and relentless support of our Friars.
Thank you to Mike Hopper, Lindsey Ashley, and Jordan Hart for everything you do both on and off the field! #GoFriars@FriarsAT 🖤

This is my golf cart. There are many like it, but this is mine.
My cart carries water.
My cart carries gear.
Without it, my job becomes much harder.
With it, we are prepared.
This isn’t just a golf cart. This is a Medical Emergency Response Vehicle. This is #CareYouCanCountOn.
Lindsey Ashley is in Year 9 as the Assistant AT. She joined the BL staff in 2017 after spending a year working in a chiropractic clinic in Houston & two years as a Graduate Assistant at UH, where she worked with their women’s volleyball team. #AT4ALL#NATM2026#CareYouCanCountOn

This March, we’re continuing to add to our rehab toolbox. We’ve just taken delivery of a few plyometric boxes, an Ancore Pro unit from @ancoretraining, and a Glute Ham Roller. These new tools will help us expand our rehab capabilities! #CareYouCanCountOn#AT4ALL#NATM2026
This is the aftermath of a 34 athlete, 68 ankle taping marathon #FriarsATs performed earlier this year during lacrosse season when the team prepared to play on a city park field. #CareYouCanCountOn#AT4ALL#NATM2026
