2027 SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPS

• Brooks Barnhizer - Rd 2, #44
• Nick Martinelli - Rd 2, #55
It’s the FIRST time since 1984-85 the ‘Cats have had players picked in back-to-back NBA Drafts.
Historic duo.
In April I asked Dusty May if he thought he'd still be coaching in college three years from now.
He didn't even make it another three months.
For @CBSSports, an inside look at why he was always NBA-bound and the things that pushed him there today. https://t.co/9BNPfJlszb
@MattNorlander@CBSSports I don’t blame him in the slightest for leaving. I’m sad at what CBB has become. I went to a small D1 school @bradleyu and the basketball program has been my lifeline to Bradley as an alum. I can’t name 5 guys on the team right now.
I don’t blame the Ryan Family for investing in football over basketball. I can’t even name a starting lineup for NU hoops. At least NU football guys are generally staying 3-4 years unless they get an offer from a CFB power.

Kalani is definitely the most valuable coach being LDS. Willie Fritz is no lower than #2 for me, one of the best coaches in the sport. Very top heavy league coaching wise.
MLB today proposed an overhauled domestic amateur-entry system that removes high school players from the draft, makes college players eligible after sophomore year, shortens the draft from 20 to 12 rounds, and cuts bonus pool from current $358.7M to $200M, sources tell ESPN.
I know every NU fan on here hates when I complement Illinois, but the international war crimes commission should investigate putting Lincoln Riley ahead of Bret Bielema. And Matt Rhule should be 19th.
NEW: Brendan Sorsby's agent, Ron Slavin, claims Cincinnati knew about the gambling addiction and took no action:
“If anybody should be questioned or catching heat, it should be Cincinnati. Because they knew for two years and never said anything or didn’t do anything about it. That’s the part of the story that gets lost.”
