We've made it to the end of a summer term like no other. When schools closed, parents and carers across the country attempted to step up and help their children learn: something most had never dreamed they'd do. PTAs stopped in their tracks as event after event was cancelled. 1/2

No decision has been made on a timetable for re-opening schools. Schools remain closed until further notice, except for children of critical workers and the most vulnerable children.

Schools will only re-open when the scientific advice indicates it is the right time to do so.
