On #DDay80 I think of our friend Jim Cooper. Jim and Joyce are featured on the information board by the air raid shelter in Page Park.

We are so pleased to have been able to secure funding for these toilets which will also provide @ChangingPlaceUK facilities to open up our beautiful park to even more visitors who previously did not feel able to enjoy everything we offer.

Work has started on transforming the former toilet block at Page Park into a new accessible facility.

We secured £52k Changing Places Grant funding and £20k is from the Friends of Page Park for the new Changing Places toilet which has more equipment and extra space.

We have been awarded £2.67m from @HeritageFundUK to renovate Kingswood Park to:

🛝 make the play area bigger and more accessible
🌳 create a new Changing Places toilet
🎭 improve the amphitheatre
🧋 provide a mobile refreshment facility
