RAMALLAH FRIENDS SCHOOL (RFS) offers students a wide range of academic & extracurricular activities encouraging students to become global thinkers and learners.
While in Atlanta in Feb, board member Mazen Karam visited Friends School of Atlanta with Quaker friend David Small. Students prepared beautiful origami for our children, a touching gesture of kindness and connection. Grateful to share this moment with our extended community.
We extend our sincere gratitude to BCI Group Palestine for their generous donation of a new playground set for our Lower Campus. This safe and engaging space now serves approximately 500 students daily in Grades 1–5.
Fourth grade students participated in a Quiz Night activity as part of the school’s focus on student wellbeing. As community activities and events are currently limited for our children, the event created a fun and supportive atmosphere.

RFS has proudly graduated its 119th class, continuing its legacy of resilience and commitment to education in Palestine. Founded in 1869, RFS remains a beacon of hope, grounded in Quaker values of integrity, peace, and equality.
Miss Anna, a former music teacher at RFS in the 1990s, returned to visit UKG English classes. She engaged the children with songs, stories, and movement activities, teaching both familiar and new English songs.
#RFS is proud of the completion of its first year offering Spanish language to all middle school students. Over 300 students concluded the year by presenting their research projects on Spanish-speaking countries, emphasizing international-mindedness and global engagement.
#RFS secured second place in the overall points of the Girls' Athletics Championship for schools in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate.

During the past week, a pastoral care team from Friends United Meeting visited Ramallah Friends School, they met with staff, teachers, students, parents, and families—offering encouragement and sharing in the life of the school community.
