Power out? Reach for a flashlight, not a candle. Keep the fridge and freezer closed so food stays cold longer, and unplug electronics so a surge does not damage them when power comes back. https://t.co/KX5dXqntdn #BeReady

Charging a phone, e-bike or scooter tonight? Use a hard surface, never a bed or couch. Use the charger that came with it, and unplug when full. Hot, swollen or smelly battery? Stop using it. Learn more at https://t.co/yv3ZryRfoH #FireSafety

Know your evacuation zone before you need it. Look up your address on your city or county emergency map, write the zone on the fridge, and tell everyone at home. Ten minutes now beats guessing later.
