On this day in 1950, Shastriji Maharaj appointed the young Shastri Narayanswarupdasji as President of BAPS at Ambli Vali Pol, Ahmedabad - the moment Pramukh Swami Maharaj's extraordinary journey of service began.

All three days, children of BAPS South London perfectly performed the vedic parayan rituals, reinforcing our timeless traditions, while also taking part in a parallel parayan for balaks and balikas, strengthening their understanding of satsang too.

This year's annual Satsang Parayan focused on the divinity and glory of the God-realised Sadhu. Starting with the life and qualities of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj, we learnt of the lofty ideals with which he lived and inspired others each day.

P. Gnankhushal Swami, a learned sadhu of BAPS, then continued the theme highlighting the same divine virtues within the manifest Guru, HH Mahant Swami Maharaj. Through various examples and reflections, he elaborated on the concept of prapti (attainment) through this Satsang.

Today we celebrate Yogi Jayanti - the birth anniversary of Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj 🙏🏽

His boundless love and tireless seva brought the Akshar-Purushottam philosophy to the UK and Africa, and inspired the youth activities our mandal runs to this day.
