We are the Friends of the Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields, dedicated to supporting the work of @homelesslondon, London’s busiest homelessness centre.
A huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who bring warmth, compassion and hope to #TheConnection every week. 💙
Every meal served, every listening ear, every welcoming smile makes a real difference to people experiencing homelessness.
We couldn't do it without you. 🙏
627 corporate volunteers gave their time at our day centre last year, and every single one made a difference. 🙌
Thank you — from everyone at The Connection.

If you are free to volunteer with the Kitchen team at The Connection between 8.30am and 1.30pm, specifically on Friday 13 March, but also throughout the year, please email [email protected]. Your time supports those experiencing homelessness.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of John Pudney. John led the SCU, purchasing St Martin’s House, where he lived alongside clients. This extraordinary commitment shaped the values that still guide our work today. We remember his grounded, compassionate approach to his work.

As temperatures plummet, the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) has been activated. Extreme cold weather is threatening the lives of people sleeping rough on our streets. To support people, we’re offering extra bed spaces in our centre, and extending opening hours.
Join us 6pm on 28 Nov - Stone Nest, 136 Shaftesbury Avenue when clients & students from Royal Academy of Music perform. The evening also gives attendees a chance to speak with clients about how creative empowerment has affected and changed their lives. RSVP to [email protected]
Currently, we're supporting 14 women at St. Martin's House.
This means they have a safe space to live with access to 24/7 support
