This Canada Day, we remember the contributions and sacrifices the men and women of @Canada have made for the betterment of Afghanistan over the 58 years of our relations. We congratulate the Canadian people on their long tradition of democracy and human rights. And our deepest gratitude goes out to fmr. ambassador @calxandr and all other Canadian civil servants for their continued advocacy on behalf of the Afghan people.
FIFA changed its law and approved that Afghan female football players can represent their own country — AFGHANISTAN — in FIFA matches from now on. Amazing!

Taliban Terrorists Suffer Heavy Losses in Operations by National Resistance Front of Afghanistan’s Freedom Fighters in Panjshir Province
In a successful targeted operation, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan’s freedom fighters inflicted heavy losses on Taliban terrorists in Panjshir Province.
On the night of Friday, May 17, 2025, the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan’s forces carried out a planned and precise operation against a Taliban terrorist base in the Darah district of Panjshir. As a result, 13 members of the Taliban terrorist group were killed and 4 others were wounded.
The attack was launched at approximately 9:00 PM against the base of the Taliban’s Third Battalion of the so-called “Special Brigade” stationed in the district. A cache of enemy weapons and equipment was also destroyed during the operation.
No harm was inflicted on the brave freedom fighters of the National Resistance Front or on any civilians.
The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan continues to carry out its counter-terrorism operations across the country with the goal of liberating the people and homeland from the control of the Taliban terrorist group.
“We will not surrender to the tyranny of the Taliban. United as a nation, we will fight for our rights. The future of Afghanistan belongs to its people, and we won’t let extremist ideologies hijack it. Together, we rise.”

On behalf of the @NRFafg I extend our sincere congratulations to Congressman @michaelgwaltz on his appointment as National Security Advisor in the upcoming administration of President @realDonaldTrump. Over the past four years, I’ve witnessed his exceptional competence, insight, and experience in global affairs. His unwavering support for the people of Afghanistan, especially the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan led by @AhmadMassoud, underscores his dedication to the enduring friendship between the United States and Afghanistan and his strong commitment to combating international terrorist; whether it is the Taliban, ISIS, Al Qaeda, or any other group. Today, on Veterans Day, it’s especially fitting to announce the appointment of a veteran who served in Afghanistan along side our forces in their struggle against terrorism to such an important position.
We have received credible intelligence that the Taliban terrorist group is conspiring to carry out attacks on embassies and diplomatic missions within Afghanistan, intending to falsely implicate the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan. This malicious plot is a clear attempt by the Taliban terrorists to tarnish the reputation of the resistance and sow discord between us and the region and international community. We unequivocally condemn any threat or attack against foreign nations or international organizations present in Afghanistan. The NRF remains fully committed to upholding all international conventions and laws.
In July alone, the @NRFafg successfully conducted over 40 operations against the Taliban and 21 other regional and global terror networks in 12 provinces. Today, our resistance has spread nationwide, mobilizing people from all ethnic groups to end the Taliban’s reign of terror and tyranny. The only solution to Afghanistan’s conflict is for the people to unite, liberate their country, and eradicate terrorism in all its forms.
@MrFreeFighter You know what’s also called “Afghan”? A type of cookie made in New Zealand. Should we let biscuit manufacturers run Afghanistan? No, because words are just a jumble of letters. It’s the people who live in a place—all of them—that get to decide its future
@HossaSMAC @alinazary@NRFafg The Ministry of Defense had its own standard that was distinct from the national flag - why should the NRF be any different? One is the flag of the organisation, the other is the flag of the nation it fights for
@TwitterSupport Afghanistan’s democracy movement @NRFafg has had its page suspended 3 times in 2 weeks for “impersonation” (due to mass reports by the Taliban), reversed on appeal each time. They’ve tried contacting you for a comprehensive solution but no one’s responding! #help
