Today, U.S. forces lifted the blockade on all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, in accordance with the President's direction. American forces are not impeding the transit of vessels to or from Iranian ports. All U.S. military blockade enforcement efforts have ceased. Our great Naval Ships will remain in the general area to make sure that all aspects of the agreement are adhered to, obeyed and in full force and effect.

Well deserved award for one of the best people (and journalists) - and a horrifying account of Oct 7.
My book "The Gates of Gaza" has won the 2026 Sami Rohr Prize for Jewish Literature. [@SamiRohrPrize]
Receiving this award is an incredible honor, and a reminder that two-and-a-half years after October 7, the task of telling that day's story, alongside the history that led to it and the terrible consequences it unleashed, is still upon us.
The Rohr Prize, established 20 years ago by the family of Jewish-American philanthropist Sami Rohr, has played a unique role over the past two decades in supporting, celebrating and lifting Jewish writers from all corners of the world. The mission behind this prize has never been more important, as we battle new waves of antisemitism globally and their unique ripples within the world of books and literature.
I'm grateful to the judging panel for choosing to recognize my work at this crucial moment, and would also like to thank my U.S. publisher @littlebrown for believing in "The Gates of Gaza" right from the start and making this achievement possible.
🫶 Welcome back #Iran! Metrics show a further rise in connectivity as mobile networks and other segments are reconnected to the global internet:
• Filternet remains in place but can be worked around
• WhatsApp now restricted, requiring circumvention
• Some users still offline
📈 Confirmed: Live metrics show a partial restoration to internet connectivity in #Iran on day 88, after 2093 hours of near-total isolation from international networks, the longest nationwide internet shutdown in modern history. It is unclear if the restoration will be sustained.
Spoke with President Trump this morning about Iran for 20 minutes.
"If they don't sign this deal, the whole country is going to get blown up," he told me.
The President said that Special Envoys Witkoff and Kushner will travel to Islamabad, Pakistan for talks this week.
NEW: American journalist @shellykittleson was freed today after being kidnapped last week in Baghdad, a senior administration official confirmed to Fox News.
U.S. officials worked with the Iraqi government to secure her release, I'm told.
