@hotdogsladies I've flip flopped between these two for a while now, but I think you'd made the proper choice. I'd give both 5 out of 5 Flower Gabriels.
@BerisfordRon Probably the weakest of the three 80's albums, but I still love it very much. Probably in the bottom third of their whole catalogue but I can't be mad at it for that.
@TheProgCorner He's a POS. If you want a super talented guitarist of the same era that by all accounts is a nice guy always choose Richard Thompson. He's a much better songwriter and unlike Eric he's only gotten better as aplayer over time. Best of all he's not a racist!
@FranziaMom Not a good answer for the MOST influential band but still hugely influential to many bands especially punk and power pop. Their influence has faded over the years as the relevance of rock has faded but I certainly think they deserve some consideration.
