When I was young my parents would stop on the side of the road and we’d have morning tea. A thermos and sandwiches. Now we Google best coffee near me and have a latte and almond croissant.
Apparently this was quite normal, people would stop half way through a long car journey for a roadside picnic. Here we are on the A1 just outside Sheffield (1968)

The bird that brings its own spoon to dinner. On a local farm where this ephemeral wetland has been mapped as present since 1860. Government needs to secure this service and financially assist farms kicking the biodiversity goals for Australia. @meatlivestock@D_LittleproudMP
