Most work colleagues I've had have said racist things, people I worked for the same. I see racism all the time in in the media .... so what am I saying? This obsessive, heat driven effort to call out transgression as a way of proving personal purity is corrosive and unhelpful.
There are people on twitter who have built a whole persona on 'catching people out' about race. They always seem to play for a particular side. One I can think of has even changed sides, like a football transfer' and played for the other team. Almost as if it was a game....

I am seeing more and more extreme racism on Twitter and now we see it encouraged on national prime time tv by the Home Secretary: “white English girls” and then more. She is an absolute disgrace. People will feel the effects of this more and more - sickening where this takes us.

Just saying “white people can’t suffer racism“ is lazy & technically incorrect. Lots of ’white’ groups can be racialised because of their ethnicity.
Saying white people don‘t suffer racism because of the colour of their skin is the term you should be using 👍🏽
