“If we didn’t sign Branthwaite, how can we possibly defend high? He’s just £85m, missing out on him would mean our season over” We can see where Branthwaite is today.
“How can we miss out on Evan Ferguson, £100m for Baby Kane is not too much”
Where is baby Kane today?
“We must sign Baleba, we need legs in the midfield, without Baleba how can we play football?”
Sell Bruno for £57m buy Baleba for £112m” “its for the good of the club”
Now it is, if we don’t sign Anderson, we won’t be able to play football next season, our season is already over before it started because we don’t want to sign Anderson for £120m..
See the pattern?? I am glad we don’t have Richard Arnold and John Murtough anymore, now we work with data, we sign players that are ready to play for us, you can cry all you want, I’ll advise you to go do your assignments.

Really really interesting timing, as “how are you paying for the stadium” has been the question coming to a head for some time now. A sale to INEOS or another partner or investor almost assuredly was the only way imaginable.
Otherwise you’re talking about a significant debt load if it’s all loans, and for the Glazers that means a long runway to upside and more risk given current rates.
Have to believe this is all part of that process of discussion around this. It HAD to come to a head with all the stadium plans moving forward.

🚨 BREAKING:
Manchester United are SERIOUS about Lewis Hall. No club-to-club negotiations yet or anything advanced - but Hall and United seems to be MOVING.
All signs are from the camp of Hall that he is prepared to EXPLORE options this summer and therefore DELAY on further engaging over a potential new contract at Newcastle.

Simon Stone saying he thinks Fernandes to United gets done would lead to the conclusion we must have some very decent dialogue with West Ham on the price already
🔴📰 | West Ham sources are dubious #mufc would be willing to pay the kind of sums they would be prepared to sell Mateus Fernandes for.
A figure of £80m has been mentioned. [@sistoney67]
🚨 Napoli and Manchester United confirm Rasmus Højlund has joined the Italian club on permanent deal triggering obligation to buy clause.
€44m fee after €6m loan fee paid last summer.
Ederson might not be a needle mover, but he’s exactly the type of midfielder we’ve lacked. Athletic, strong, covers ground, and brings energy. Add a couple more new midfielders and the squad depth should finally be there for next season’s schedule.
Has been a big part of Atalanta’s success and - at nearly 27 - is as ready as he’s ever going to be for the step to a club of United’s size
Brings a big work rate, experience, physicality, midfield versatility, good passing range, technical ability and a proven mentality.
No such thing as a dead cert though - fascinated to see how he adapts to the quicker pace/added physicality of the PL - the tactical differences a challenge too - will be interesting
