Today, our team completed Breathing Apparatus training off station. This training helps to support and develop our trainee Firefighters ensuring their best prepared for real life incidents.

Yesterday we held our first Macmillan Coffee morning, what a success it was!
We raised over Β£200 and had a lovely day, giving safety advice, listening to fantastic music and enjoying a lot of cakes.

Today is Cheshire Safety Day! π
Our crew have been out in the town, delivering business safety packages to local shops as well as safety information to homes following an increase in deliberate fires and anti-social behaviour.

Yesterday we visited Thrive Corner House Nursery. We spoke about what we do as firefighters and how we all like to help people.

Extra training for the crew today involving pumping from open water and how to extinguish a chimney fire, these drills assist our trainee Firefighters in becoming competent in role. π¦ π₯
Deliberate fires are preventable and stop crews attending life risk incidents. This week we have attended numerous incidents of this type!!

We sadly lost our owners at the Open day on Sunday.
We're being looked after by our new friends, but we'd like to go home now - these lot keep talking about sending us up laddersπ₯΄

We will be holding our demonstrations at 1pm and 3pm today and there's plenty to see in between.

Last night we completed Water Safety Training at Crowmere lake.
Utilising flood suits, life jackets and wading poles we performed several simulated rescues.
Remember if someone's in trouble in the water - Stay on land and make the right call, CALL 999.
