stuff like this is why the game's taking so long- having to come up with roundabout solutions for extremely simple things, because this engine is made on duct tape and nails.

No, the game's not dead. Working on one of the biggest bugbears- namely the fact that rpg maker mv doesn't let you control followers normally without a special plugin, thus making me have to put in a command.
now i have a common event to make dummy events for the followers.

I'm going on vacation this week, but moonchild development (and updates) will resume after i get back. i'm refreshed and ready to roll!
Been a while, hasn't it. Honestly, I've been taking an extended break from Moonchild development- after the demo came out, I just kind of crashed hard out of sheer burnout. Expect more frequent dev updates to resume in january next year- I'll probably be ready by then.
@SlLENTPRINCESS Twilight Princess needed a sequel way more than Breath of the Wild did. (especially considering the twilight realm itself was barely explorable.)
