@Adiofreak It should be obvious.
2001 insane visuals for Xbox genuine graphical leap.
2004 same thing
2007 same thing
2026: looks like every unreal game + runs like shit + the lighting breaks every 15 minutes + ghosting + artifacts
@PoltFan69 This is sand effect not the "realism" gabe is talking about. The real problem is that this sand effect could've been a shader and you would've gotten 100FPS for free but no it uses nanite and actual geometry. The final 1% fidelity this buys is not worth the performance cost
@yourpalsatyr@Milo_H4 When a game pushes X amount of polygons on Y hardware and does so poorly there an objective lack of technical ability in said art. Quake's BSP algorithm is objectively beautiful just because someone says i don't like how this looks doesn't mean art quality is entirely subjective
@TheWinterSld@Milo_H4 It does for any piece you can objectively look at the technical competency of the artist. When a game runs bad that is a technical competency problem but the game can still look beautiful which is a subjective quality. Quake's BSP algorithm is art but objectively beautiful
@TheIshikawaRin Probably because you got into that discussion with me and that other turbo chud where he pulled out those gemmy diagrams about the Jews and their ties to communism. Stuff like that nukes your Algo happens to me every now and then too towards more leftwing content.
@alice_stra46836@evillulalunee I'm not some mentally ill tranny so not everything i say is projection this is probably hard for you to comprehend. Make sure you post a video when you throw yourself off the tranny bridge
@mike_doscher Right. The mag slots in straight to the mag well in your video instead of canting in like an AK. Some other flair idea that might work is the handle in the back of the mag i mentioned make it like a rotating handle that actuates the mag release handle?
@mike_doscher The rounds rotate around the drum mag and in the center you mold an indent with a handle that the player uses to manipulate the magazine.
@mike_doscher beautiful model really gets that 80's / 90's sci-fi look and doesn't look over-designed or artstation'ified.
I get what you mean with the manual of arms. I think most of it comes from the drum mag. It's too large for the human to grasp. Maybe you can inset a handle on the back.
@alice_stra46836@evillulalunee You aren't welcome either you disgusting tranny you will never be a woman you are a faggot and everyone laughs at you behind your back because you look like a ridiculous faggot playing dress up
@halo2mappack I see a lot of people offering solutions but this is an engine limitation. UE5 needs multiple frames of information to calculate the lighting and when the barrel is blocking the view that information is gone. So when you peek around it has to guess and this breaks lighting.
@halo2mappack Which is exactly what temporally dependent techniques struggle with. UE5 Is one of the worst looking engines in motion. And all tech like lumen, nanite etc rely on temporal samples. UE5 is slowly going to look better but will always look worse in motion and has set graphics back.
@halo2mappack Graphics fidelity has basically been solved around 2014 ~ 2016. UE5 Tries to do global illumination and all other tech is built around easier asset authoring. The problem is that UE5 now makes the best screenshots but games are inherently designed to be in motion.
