Priv: @FroggiePriv
@Claire__Bearr EXACTLY! their strengths lie in different places!
Even if they weren't equal in strength and skill ( since that depends what part of their stories were taking them from), it wouldn't make the other weak nor discredit them as a character
Been seeing a lot of posts of people trying to power scale compare Aang and Korra and equating it to which of them is a better character.
Your fave doesn't have to be the most Uber powerful and their power level doesn't equal better or worse writing.
@beca4leafclover They're EVERYWHERE
and it's always people at Korea's throat for "being the worst weakest coughing baby under the sun" apparently
Or saying that Aang would cry and crumble if put in Korras shoes...
Give me AU discussions of how these two swapping places could alter the story!
Della Charybdin-
Of course- they're descended from Charybdis. Della can mean of nobility.
Her status is a core aspect of her character that she weaponises and strives to uphold
What if I just explained the meanings / reasons for all my character names so far. Wouldn't that be fun (my characters almost always have some sort of reasons behind their names)
Opal- as Skyler and Ama (formerly Zircon) decide to marry
neither wish to carry their surnames for seperate reasons
So they create an in-between.
Ama's family carries the names of minerals/rocks/gems
The spellbound order carried names of space objects
Opals can be found in space
