Ableism: When your Autistic kid has always been mainstreamed & is a high honors student in GenEd curriculum w/ only sensory accommodations in IEP, nothing academic or behavioral, but is moved into isolated SpecEd classes b/c something MUST be wrong w/ him.

@CalliCoop Yes, well, unfortunately for them I am familiar with the legal phrase 'least restrictive environment' & they have zero precedents on record for f*cking w/ my kid to push a budget quota.

@CalliCoop Generally, putting kids in isolated SpecEd classes costs MORE than mainstreaming them, when they don't need a lot of additional support. So budget is neither reason nor excuse for un-mainstreaming my kid that was mainstreamed success.

I'm physically disabled, can't get to the Post Office...but @Lowes customer service won't tell me the discount code I could get if I could just get to a Post Office in person, so I can use it online.

& the other day when I had help getting to a @Lowes to check out items that WERE available in-store, an associate refused to help shift tiles on/from shelves so I could judge slickness, unless I, "Was ready to buy," because, "They are heavy." I'm standing there w/ my cane.

I just wasted 1.5hrs of my time trying to order something from @Lowes, then w/ customer service, to find out the promo discount on any item will only work in-store....where they don't HAVE the item like they do online.
