Will be interesting to see how the takeover bid works out. Last thing Mikel and the team need is a summer of uncertainty. Will kroenke want to spend money if he knows he won’t see that investment back by selling the club? And how serious is Elk about the project ?

Although there are numerous differences between the two clubs and how they’re run. Arsenal should take a leaf out of Chelsea’s playbook this season. Bring in an experienced top flight manager with a tried and tested system and you’ll see a difference.

Point deduction may seem harsh but it will stop them trying anything again.

Financial punishment won't have any real impact on any club.

I think it'll be a slap on a wrist and they'll move on.
