I spent my summer pouring through my set-piece folders and research to create what I believe to be a fantastic set-piece resource. Created for beginners and people already working in the game alike. Thread of what the course includes below:

Looking to speak to clubs wanting to ensure they have a strong season from set-pieces. I have a wealth of experience in a huge variety of leagues, details on experiences + how it works are below. Any questions or interest, please drop me a message!
@AdamCrafton_@TheAthleticFC Seems like a good time to remind fans that for $2 you can get a fountain Coke product with unlimited free refills at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Yes, even at the World Cup!
Obviously unfortunate for Arsenal at the weekend, but I couldn't help but think of the @NTT20Pod stat where only 1 penalty in the EFL completely missed the goal this season. Decided to expand to Europe. Just 118 penalties from 4245 taken completely missed the goal!

@TheExiledRobin@NTT20Pod Not quite true, in my table "missed" means completely missed the goal entirely (not saved or off the post/bar) - so technically the same number (1)!
So proud of everyone at CD Castellon - Into the Liga 2 playoffs with the best set-piece numbers in the league (+12 goal diff - matching Arsenal - 1st, 2nd in xG diff with +6.1 xG, 1st in shot diff with +53 shots). Honoured to be returning for a 4th season. Almost there! Vamos!
The clearest pattern is that shots and xG tend to run ahead of goals, which is the side of the job I have most control over!
Due to a workflow change I can take on more teams next season.
If you're looking to have a strong season from set-pieces, drop me a message....
Next season is my 9th in professional football. Out of interest I pulled the data on my entire career as a set-piece analyst (that I have info for!). The result is 22 club-seasons, from 9 different countries...here's what the data said (thread...)
My teams have ranked top-quartile of their league for set-piece xG difference in 41% of seasons.
Typical league finish is 7th-8th out of and average of 22 teams for both shot diff and xG diff.
Numbers I'm pretty proud of given the spread of leagues and contexts.
I work in a huge variety of leagues, what works in one league might not translate well to another, so understanding these details is key. Data helps understand those differences - the below tables show the average number of attackers inside the 6-yard area from inswinging corners
