Yeah, I think it’s pretty fair to associate the god of war brand with kratos. I’m hyped for the game personally but get where the non politicized side of the concern comes from.
But sms have never missed . They had to have seen this reaction coming nd believe whatever they are cooking will change minds. I trust them
@TierZoo Yeah, feeling something similar, but not as strongly as you.
Im hoping a lot of it is just the weapon i picked and that feel will lead into good power scaling vibes when I get something new.
Yes? It's not an official cited source in a news piece; it's just giving credit for where you found an asset and indicating that you are not trying to pass it off as your own
If that asset is later found to have been stolen, then everyone who shared it isn't implicated, and only the source is banned
@DirtyEffinHippy@KenRaves Agreed.
The problem with engagement bait is that both parties win. The baiter gets engagement and so does the dunker but they also get to feel superior to someone which is likely the stronger motivator
@TokiDotMori GBC's the wrong example for that crowd anyway, since that art was made for LCD. The CRT argument actually holds, IMO, for console sprites drawn around phosphor bleed, but that's narrower than how it's usually framed.
I'll very likely talk about it in a future video, but Mina the Hollower is brilliant and basically a must-play
just a masterclass of game design from start to finish and arguably the all time best when it comes to games inspired by old-school, top-down Zelda games
The issue isn't that the movie exists for business reasons.
It's that capital first thinking is so embedded in their culture, nobody in the room flagged that saying it out loud might sound cynical.
Jon Favreau: "Lucasfilm was like 'we haven't done a movie in a while, can you do something with these characters, is there something there?'"
And then he describes condensing the Season 4 scripts he had already written into a two hour movie minus all references to events that happened in the previous three seasons so that people unfamiliar with the show wouldn't be lost.
Did George Lucas ever say "Hey, I haven't done a Star Wars movie in a while, how about I just throw some established characters on screen in a totally throw-away adventure not connected to anything that came before and see what happens." 🤦
Disney still just shoveling out theatrical releases to hit quarterly deadlines. No creative vision at all.

@longislandviper Glad to see people focused on improving ps supports quality. its something i have had strong feelings about for a long time as the service has been atrophying for years.
