Kids leaving High School practice early to go to AAU practice in June is a bit different to me. AAU for high schoolers should be on pause for the month of June. If you don't take high school serious then don't expect high school to take you serious.
Some coaches out here scare to death to coach their best players. Shook. Letting them do what never they want with no recourse. You only hurting them and making yourself look like you don’t have a pair. 🤷🏽♂️
Jalen Brunson taking the pay cut to come to New York, getting his friends on the team and actually winning the Championship. One of the most gangster stories in NBA history
How bout them Knicks!!
Jalen proves IF YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH YOU ARE BIG ENOUGH.
KAT 50/40/90 the best numbers by a big guy EVER! And this was a true team where EVERYONE starred at one point or another. How bout Alvarado?
Thank you James Dolan! For bringing my brothers (Leon and Wes) to NY and letting them do what they do… INCLUDING Kenny Payne!!
You all have practiced “ family” and brought the city together as one.
No doubt that Leon’s, Wes’s and Karls moms had a hand in this happening!!
Congrats to all. So well deserved and EARNED!!
Mike Brown dropped a definition about winning in life.
“If you get knocked down in life and you’re able to get back up and keep fighting - that’s a fricking win.”
You need to hear this.
Success isn’t always winning.
Sometimes it’s refusing to stay down
Dead Rat don’t Squawk
The Hound often insults Arya to toughen her up and keep her quiet while they travel through dangerous territory with some typical wording like:
“Shut up, little bird… don’t make a sound.”
When people paraphrase it as “dead rat don’t squawk,” they’re capturing his meaning:
he’s basically telling Arya to stop acting emotional or vulnerable and stay silent so they don’t get caught or killed.
It also shows their dynamic at the time he’s harsh and intimidating, but he’s also unintentionally teaching her how to survive.
Saw a practice today. Let’s say practice was at 9am. 4 kids walked in at 9am on the dot. 2 at 8:58. You can’t take most of these kids seriously. Remember the are a few BASKETBALL PLAYERS and most are just kids who play basketball.
