@cirsova @Carmine_Canine As the only race with a starting food bonus they ramp economy the quickest. IIRC you can feed your starting pop with just 2 Halfling farmers, so you get snowballing on buildings quite a bit faster by being able to have 2 workers instead of 1.

@cirsova @Carmine_Canine Halflings are much better than they look. The lucky ability gives them +10% chance to hit and block, plus units meleeing them get -10% to hit. Add in their extra figures and they scale powerfully with unit buffs like heroism, adamantium, and the Warlord retort
