@IamScottSinger1 Chaim traded a replacement level minor league reliever (Granillo) for one of our top relievers this year (Soriano). You never know what we’ll get back
@Senjecko@justfranklin@financedystop Majority of retirees continue to work or volunteer to have some sort of purpose in life. I’d imagine that’s the situation here.
@IamScottSinger1 Look at the pitchers on our top 30 prospect list and look how many are out for the season with injuries. Fans want strikeout pitchers but those come with significant injury risk. We need to keep stockpiling those guys so more will stick. Jo Jo and O Brien are due to regress.
@RedbirdFarmhand I include easy ground balls to his left and right that most MLB third basemen reach into that “routine play” category. I get a feeling we’re about to start giving up more runs and the fanbase will blame it on pitching while salivating over this lineup.
@OnlyCardsFans He’s due for that 2 week period where he has a .800ish OPS and we all hope this is him turning a corner just for him to go back into a month long slump just to repeat the process again in late July.
@Cardinals_Live_ Feels like a risk holding on to him with his injury history. I’d still rather they trade him and put Dobbins in his place. Maybe consider resigning him in free agency.
@SteveEnders8@jmjones I feel like Oli is daring them to bring in a lefty to face all those lefties in a row late in the game just to pinch hit Gorman and Church for Fermin and Nelly.
@AdamAkbani Is it weird that I like to see our prospects have a little bit of adversity before getting to the show? A lot of these guys have never failed at anything before and don’t know how to deal with it.
@INTLBaseball24 It blows my mind that the qualifiers shrunk rather than expanded. They need to at least go back to 4 pools of 4 teams, preferably with some sort of mechanism for teams to make the qualifier through continental tournaments like this one.
