As part of their financial literacy unit, @SPPS_News@FrostLakeSpps students had a 5th Grade Market. The 4th grade students received $5 "dollars" to spend at the Market. It was an engaging lesson for the 5th grade students in product development, marketing and teamwork.

Julie Boada, an Anishinabe artist, storyteller, puppeteer and arts educator, recently worked with @SPPS_News@FrostLakeSpps 4th grade students. The children learned about the different songbirds in #Minnesota then created a beaded pouch featuring their favorite #birds.
Third grade students at @SPPS_News@FrostLakeSpps made cards with positive messages that were hung in the cafeteria for other students to read while they wait in line for lunch. All part of building a kind learning community. #KindnessMatters
43 @SPPS_News@FrostLakeSpps students took part in a Fun Run at Minnehaha Falls. A bus was full with 65 family members and runners and 5 families followed in cars to support their runner. It was a great time! Thanks to everyone who helped make it a success for the students.

Students in @PTP_Press 4th grade classroom at @FrostLakeSpps put into action their knowledge of area and perimeter to find both of shapes with unknown measurements. The students said they loved the unique learning opportunity and the chance to work as a team. @SPPS_News
@FrostLakeSPPS is focused on kindness and handing out "kindness coupons" for students who show kindness to others and are part of building a safe and welcoming learning community. The goal is to post 1,000 coupons in the cafeteria by the end of March. @SPPS_News@SppsCounselors
