I appreciate all the response to my earlier post.
Just like there are many views of which none are wrong and provide good insights, obviously my own views are based in my own experiences and not about the Japanese industry as a whole.
I initially wrote in hopes that people understood that there are artists here that are trying hard to reach their content globally and the best way for fans to get info about those activities is to follow their socials DIRECTLY because not a lot of artists have the means of promoting themselves on major platforms, and artist also base their overseas tours on Spotify and Youtube analytics.
I understand that I'm not the most influential voice to make changes in the industry, but I've never given up trying to connect with the world and I probably never will.
My goal has never been to become the biggest selling artist, as long as I can reach the people who enjoy my music. But that also means I have to try harder to bring my content overseas.
It's worth it though.
Thanks & Rock On.
If you’re a fan of Japanese music and live outside of Japan, I would be so grateful if you take a moment to read this🙏
If you’ve ever wondered why more Japanese artists don’t reach out and do shows & tours overseas, the reason is pretty simple and the main one is the hurdle of selling tickets.
There is only a SMALL percentage of artists that can rely on the power of big labels/agents to promote their shows internationally.
Even in Japan, selling out shows is a lot more challenging than in past years, due to people just being satisfied with digital content. And considering it costs even more to bring a tour overseas, you can imagine how many artists are willing to LOSE money by doing so, if any.
It’s not just about the artist not being popular or sufficient enough, or that they don’t have the will to bring their content to fans around the world. In fact, there are so many fellow artists around me that I highly respect, telling me they wish they could do shows overseas, but know it’s not realistically possible, and as someone who yearns for the same thing, it really, really hurts inside.
More importantly, it hurts most that fans around the world will often never ever be able to see a show of their favorite Japanese artist.
I’m not trying to ask for pity, nor demand anything, unless this resonates with you.
But if it does, and you want to know what you can do to help us reach you with our music, it’s really very simple.
Please go follow artist’s socials.
Please go subscribe to their Youtube channels.
Please find them on Spotify.
Please interact with them by commenting and letting them know you’re there to support them.
Please share your passion with the people around you.
AND PLEASE, don’t miss the opportunity to buy a ticket and GO to their shows, when that miraculous opportunity comes, whether it’s a solo or event stage.
I am not exaggerating when I say it IS a miracle and it might never happen again.
I know writing all this isn’t gonna change much, but I just hope it reminds you that every listener, every fan, every second of support matters in keeping music alive, particularly in this generation.
Thanks for listening, if you made it this far🫶
Let’s keep Rocking On.

…okay I found some words!
Almost 5 years in now and the scenery continues to change. It’s always unfamiliar, but it’s okay because I’m not alone. My friends who have taught me so many things not just about the stage but about a life doing…all of this!! They are with me.
So let’s go anywhere together!!!!! Let’s sing and dance for anyone, no matter where!
We’ll celebrate everything that has happened, everything that has come and everything that will be.
I have a view I want to see, but there’s also one I want to see together with them. I really think we’re gonna make it there!
Until then, how about that performance??
Everyone brought their own special spark.
For my own performance, I put together something that outlines my own journey since it’s been about half a decade. Listen to the words closely and I hope you’ll understand! Sorry if the bass was hard to hear, they may have turned it down a bit as I’m still a beginner... But that too is a part of my journey to be the artist I want to be! So to my dead beats, thank you for watching warmly and never giving up on me, even when times were unbearable and rough in the beginning of my career.
I only stayed because of you and my friends I found here.
I also tend to look too much toward the future rather than cherishing the scenery around me during these shows, but for just a moment here I want to remember this feeling forever.
It’s a special feeling I think is too complicated to put into words that will fit on the internet, so I’ll keep it to myself.
But to put it short: I love them!
To the talents, staff and fans all over the world- thank you for being who you are!!
Let’s walk forward together!!!!
Can we go to….the moon!????
Or the underworld?!!
…or even crazier…Europe?!
