@Jonathan_Blow I've used a function that returns the text height given a font and a certain width constraint. However, this function is a built-in one for GameMaker's GML, so I'm not sure how it works under the hood to be able recreate it easily in other languages.

@ObviousRises This brings up an insidious possibility. The emasculation of all the male heroes in our stories may be an attempt to emasculate the young boys trying to mimic them. Which, then most women (and most mothers) are simply blind to it and can't see the problems adult men have with it.

@TArchcast That is literally why pay-to-win games exist. A larger number of people than you'd expect love the power you feel when you smack someone down with your wallet. I dare say a portion of anti-pay-to-win people would play if they had the money.
Spending money is their power fantasy.
