@Rojuwi@PitchToJohnny Had 4 tickets to see OU at Michie and then Covid happened. Was going with some friends who played football at Army. Life long Sooner season ticket holder. Still hurts to have missed that experience.
@oklahomaceo Lot of good mentions. Haven’t seen Cheevers on the list. Been around forever. Their menu in general but the Chicken Fried Steak is on point. Also Sandro and NY Pizza on Campus Corner.
Good call. Absolutely Free Climbers. Free Climbers and Big Mountain Free Riders are the disciplines I can most relate. Grew up in CO on bikes and skis. Have done some challenging hikes but nothing above Class 4. Exposure changes everything. A 2800 foot sheer wall with some of the most difficult technical holds and no protection. Yes that takes an incredibly unique athlete.
@alt1na1 As if Napoleon Dynamite and Taylor Swift had a pop music baby Delivered by Wes Anderson. She is an iteration of several pop icons over the last 20+ years. Catchy and inevitable.
Stillwater over Norman? Clearly not up to speed on things happening around Norman. It is a quintessential College Football Town. Been to several SEC schools and OU’s Game Day Experience is as good or better than just about all of them. Norman takes a hit for scenery and outdoors rec I’ll give that much but it’s only 8% of your weights
OU is one of the top 5 winningest programs over the last 3 decades. With the tradition of excellence there is zero chance they are not an "Only Blue Blood". Not sure how you can leave Texas and USC off this category. While they haven't won it all in 30-40 years, hard to exclude Notre Dame, Nebraska and Penn State in this category too...especially when they're in the same category as Florida and Miami. Who are not really Blue Bloods in the traditional sense. Florida and Miami are "New Bloods".
@Snoopandscore@CJVogel_OTF@EricCHenry_ Not blaming the refs. You made it sound like a blow out. It was not. I don’t bet…but if you really think TX is beating OU by 21 this year I’d jump on that one.
@Snoopandscore@CJVogel_OTF@EricCHenry_ Ah grade school comebacks and spelling corrections on the internet…the highest form of intellectual superiority. Send over some of those K-5 books you read and I’ll give them a crack
@Snoopandscore@CJVogel_OTF@EricCHenry_ OU’s offense was anemic last year. Close game until Texas was gifted the return TD on the no-call blocks in the back. Not a typo. Plurality of fouls is accurate for what happened on that play.
