@shaezaman @instagram Yes it gets banned, if you do it its less likely you will get your account back, if you make a new one on same device theres a high chance you will get banned. Get a new device and fresh email. The account linking feature cab get your new one banned if you use same device.

@chaipagglu @instagram You have to keep in mind with digital id linking all social media at some point they will wipe out all your accounts, some ppl lost their whatsapp and facebook because they linked it to instagram. Speaks for itself.

@instagram Im also not surprised meta owns insta facebook and whatsapp people have been losing all 3 imagine the chaos when all apps share this data one false flag all your social medias gone or maybe banned together. I wont trust these people with my data or anything.

@instagram Another reason I think this is because digital id has issues, they want everyone to verify with it. Instagram has these issues which they could have fixed but chose not to. No one does something this sloppy unless they are probing to see if enough ppl will accept verifying id.

@instagram I have to be honest its a pretty way to see who will be willing to give their ids to keep their accounts I wont verify my id anyways because it will just lead to more problems with this ppl. Its better not to appeal and just use alternatives instead of getting identity banned.

@instagram Being honest I think meta is just scamming you for your ids, there is many people banned none of them cared, the more you appeal more data they get so why would they bother if they get that data probably just trying to link all your stuff together. Maybe if no one appeals?
