@ecexpress ended up only putting up one in the 9th and fall 12-9 to the Loggers.

They were in prime position early but struggled to get men on base late in the game. Gotta keep yourself out of the position where some unlucky calls matter.

Tough bottom of the 9th for the home plate ump... Called back a batter hit on the hands saying it was off the knob. Give Ethan Ferris the Oscar because if he was acting getting hit he had everyone in the stands convinced... Immediately grounded into a double play.

Wausau's pitching was just phenomenal all night. Only giving up the solo homerun and getting out of a bases loaded no our jam with only one run conceded in the 8th. Eau Claire loses their 4th in a row 2-7. Next home game is on Saturday!

Wausau pulls their starter after 5 with a 6 run lead. He faced 2 over the minimum with a home run given up. He threw 51 strikes in 69 pitches. Very impressive. Now the @ecexpress need to get after the Wausau bullpen!

Tough night for @express bullpen giving up 9 over the last 3 innings to fall to Waterloo 12-6. A silver lining though, Waterloo's 8 hitter had a combined platinum sombrero 😂. Hopefully the express can get on winning tracks again here soon!
