"What impressed me most was the atmosphere created by the hardworking team, most of whom have full-time jobs alongside their roles as on-call firefighters."

Much of the same continues with new roles filled without a process. Did we not agree a formal process would take place for every temporary promotion? That an eligibility criteria must be met? Qualified and eligible personnel have been overlooked once again. #jobformymate#simonss
So again what was meant to be a fair system has been damaged by rotten apples. Temp jobs not advertised and given to unqualified individuals, and individual not eligible for the sift remains in temp WM post. Come on sort this madness out….is what I wrote in the survey #getagrip
Chief Docx please audit the recent promotional process, we had so much hope for a new, fair and honest process. You will most certainly find evidence of foul play, unless he manages to cheat his way out of this too. #wehadhope#withhardworkcomescompetency
Positive start for our new leader. Immediately admitted failures & immediately putting in place measures to help. But remember people these issues can not be fixed overnight. We are on the right path, get on this train and support the change. #StrongerTogether#FutureIsOurLegacy
Speaking to a new recruit today and a reply to a question was ‘Simon who?’ I smiled, it’s began. Embrace what’s in front of you colleagues, openness, respect #strongertogether#leadership
Let’s all now look to the future and work with our new chief. Let’s have faith and together we can make North Wales Fire and Rescue great again. Yes expect change, it’s not always a bad thing #simonwho
Drivers at Keswick have been attending a soft road driving course to learn the capabilities of the Vario wildfire unit and were impressed with its handling of soft road conditions
@Humblebum3 😂 your a tool! That’s obvs up some managers rear. I’ll meet you round back of the drill tower. Let’s see how well you know your service, how many drill towers do we have??
All it takes is one small incident in North Wales and fire cover across our region reaches dangerously low levels. It’s only a matter of time before simultaneous incidents occur and we don’t have the resources to respond #firecoverreview
@samtangogledd Have you seen how the chair behaves around the chief, the authority has no authority over him. They are weak and do not serve their constituents
The more and more of our colleagues we speak to at every level the more evident it is of the severe corruption, bullying and absolute disgusting behaviour at times from our ‘leader’ and a few others, and now as the dinosaur begins to fossilise more of us are prepared to speak out
Over the years our landscape has changed, the audit has identified we need to change with it. The safety of our residents and visitors is paramount. Let’s look to the future and stop holding onto the last. @samtangogledd @Humblebum3
@Humblebum3 Been drinking have we? Calling for a fire cover review is ensuring the safety of north wales residents and visitors, not about holding onto the past! The landscape of north wales has changed dramatically, time we changed too.
Curious about how other fire services operate, and treat their firefighters and staff. Join our forums and network with others discussing just how they do things in their FRS. You may be surprised. You may learn something. #firefighterdiscussion https://t.co/ZCAtq0CEqT
