Is anyone else refusing to quest/explore, even to tie up loose ends, before 6.0 because you don't want to lose the encounter points? I still have over 200 points, most of which will be forfeited in 6 weeks. Seems pointless to accumulate more.

@skirkceo Nah, I didn’t like Fontaine pretty early on after the fun I had in Sumeru. Fontaine felt empty and less magical. The exploration was fun for a week, and then it was over. Too easy. I missed Sumeru’s puzzles and secrets. The story was alright, but dragged the longer it went on.

@CEOofMav Like many oldest daughters, Mavuika has to carry/lift the emotional burden of not just her family but that of an entire nation. If the pyro archon had been a man, no one would criticize his lack of emotion. Because as a warrior and leader that’s what would be expected from them.

@dooditstyler And I would have loved for the interlude act before Act 5 to have been more substantial. But the story they were trying to tell was told well, and I wasn't left feeling like any of the acts wasted my time. I didn't feel like there were unresolved points like in Fontaine either.

@dooditstyler I have my criticism for Natlan too, I'm not saying it's perfect, but when I step back to look at the overall product, the missteps seem less amateurish. I would have loved more Capitano involvement in the early acts, and more time for Act 5 to simmer before it got to the climax.

@mosssgarden @divamondlvr Natlan was written better than Fontaine when we consider the plot holes and bad pacing/ unnecessary moments Fontaine had. You can try to prove me wrong. I have a university degree in creative writing. I’ll be ready.

@DannyMochi1 Both pictures you posted are two modernized INTERPRETATIONS of Huitzilopochtli. They’ve got about equal amounts of aztec iconography on them. If we’re being sticklers for authenticity, Huitzilopochtli was depicted as either a hummingbird or an anthropomorphic figure.

@auraquence It was a well written quest. You just don’t like where it went, and that’s a subjective opinion. My opinion is also subjective, but I’d like to think it’s at least substantiated by my degree in creative writing.
