v2 of Privacy Pools is coming ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
It will the the next step in compliant privacy tooling:
- built-in private yield
- more security via hardware wallet support for ZK secrets, multi-sig and safe support
- stealth addresses for interacting privately with DeFi protocols
- private double-blind venmo-style payments and requests
Live on testnet right now. Don't miss this.
There is no future without privacy.
Incredibly proud of the team at @0xbowio for what they are building.
Myself and @Cyph3rVae are grateful that Plutos Capital can play a part in their journey.
Without privacy the future looks grim.
Yet with privacy pools built by 0xBow there is hope. A future where you can achieve privacy onchain yet dissociate yourself from illicit funds. The morally right thing, without compromising your values.
And let's not forget institutions. Without compliance enabled privacy institutional adoption is a fantasy.
If you haven't already, check out Privacy Pools and get ready for v2. Many great things are coming. Devs are cracked, and cooking.
@nixorokish@jchaskin22 i have exactly the same feeling, and many others I know share it..signal accounts would be nice where u can switch to a work account that turns off notifications at certain times of the day.
I mean I ain't gonna say I told ya so, but how many times have we shouted into the void that we need more decentralized stablecoins
check out BOLD by @LiquityProtocol
and frxUSD by @fraxfinance is miles better than UDSC/USDT
both have pools on Privacy Pools ๐ฅ๐โโ๏ธ
@Param_eth does TVL actually reflect activity on Canton? Since it uses single sided ledgers it doesn't really seem like a good measure? Fees are high so there must be activity (lots of settlement and then on/off ramps?).
Arcium network stats on @solana mainnet over the last 24h:
- Over 50,000 <encrypted> computations
- 144,000 transactions
- 18,000,000 MPC rounds
(all of this before full mainnet launch even!)
yea small privacy pool on @0xprivacypools for BOLD - I'm sure it will grow in light of these zama news
Interesting, I see privacy protocols more about agency. I have nothing to hide but I also don't want everyone to see my own chain history and spending. Especially in light of so many KYC data leaks..not keen on wrench attacks.
What makes BOLD medium risk in your opinion? Keen to understand. Personally I always see risk where decentralized products rely on centralized collateral..cascade potential if something gets blocked upstream.
I can't fucking believe I still see "people don't care about decentralization" in 2026!
People care about not losing everything when the exchange goes bankrupt overnight
They care about their bank account not being frozen because they donated to the wrong cause
They care about their savings not being wiped out by one guy with a printer
They care about one bad sovereign decision not erasing three generations of wealth
They care about one company not deciding what they're allowed to buy, say, or sell
They care about the software they depend on not being killed by a boardroom decision
They care about their messages to their doctor not being read by their government
They care about one cut cable not taking down the internet for a continent
They care about one wet market not collapsing the entire global supply chain
They care about everything not hinging on whether the next leader happens to be sane
They care about no single madman being able to turn an entire state apparatus against them
They care about one rogue cell not being able to hijack and consume the whole body
PEOPLE CARE ABOUT DECENTRALIZATION!!!
@FryCookVC@LiquityProtocol@fraxfinance@PharosWatch Only the best, in USD quasi exclusively $BOLD with a minor and capped USDC exposure
Also liking ZCHF for CHF exposure and making it work with XAUT/PAXG for lack of better alternative (for now...) for gold exposure
