@UBports I understand, there is any chance to have a working xmpp client that support omemo on the store? Atm there are 3 and none of them working at all. Thank you
@UBports I'm looking a guide to install anbox on my pinephone, but i just fund how to install on other phones. There is any news on this topic? I just need few apps i can't find on the store and this is the only things i cannot switch my ubuntu phone as daily driver
@ManjaroLinux@thepine64@kdecommunity@ManjaroLinuxARM I'm new on manjaro, what's your policy about closed source firmware and software? It's something need to be enabled like on debian or it's already included in packages and kernel?
@overbyte@UBports I suggest the librem5, is the most secure you can choose, and buying it will also fund a privacy oriented company, imho it worth a lot. I've ordered the librem5 for that reason, and also the pinephone ubports edition to support this project too
@RaptorCompSys @thomholwerda @osnews That's better, but have exposed something on the network it's a security flaw imho, same as the need to use another untrusted pc, if i have a trusted one whoudn't don't need openpower
@RaptorCompSys @thomholwerda @osnews Navigatin to bmc web server require ssh access and another pc, i don't call it secure (the other pc is x86 lol) neither simple as click a key on boot and apply the bin, no other pc required and really simple
@RaptorCompSys @thomholwerda @osnews Cool, i hope to read a noob friendly solution to update system firmware, and some news about firefox jit in the near future, a couple of things that hold me to buy your system. Ofc something on an open source gpu with hw accell for just DE is something i whould love too
