Why the ๐ฌ๐งBritish Looted ๐ช๐ทEritrea During Their Occupation?
โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ
In the years that followed their occupation of Eritrea, the British administration systematically dismantled and removed significant industrial and military infrastructure.
I found the original video which was edited by Pp cadres๐ช๐น to fabricate fake news about the Eritrean forces.
The exact date of this footage is back in 26 January 2023, wisdrawal of the Eritrean forces from #Tigray.

ABiyโs Ambition and Hostilities
Ethiopia has once again accused Eritrea of having troops inside Ethiopian territory and of interfering in Ethiopiaโs internal affairs.
We have seen this movie before.
If these accusations are true, then show the world the evidence. Provide independently verifiable locations, dates, satellite imagery, credible documentation, and other evidence that can withstand international scrutiny.
The world does not need staged propaganda, recycled allegations, or fabricated narratives. Serious accusations that could push two countries toward war require serious evidence.
At the same time, Abiy Ahmedโs government has repeatedly issued threats and openly postured around Eritreaโs sovereignty, particularly regarding access to the Red Sea and Eritrean ports. Despite these provocations, Eritrea has demonstrated what can reasonably be described as significant restraint.
Eritrea has repeatedly called for peace, dialogue, and restraint. Not because it accepts intimidation, but because avoiding another devastating regional war is the responsible path.
Now the rhetoric is escalating again.
Abiy Ahmedโs government is accusing Eritrea of meddling in Ethiopiaโs internal affairs while Ethiopia continues to struggle with its own deep political, security, and institutional crises.
Letโs be clear: blaming Eritrea for Ethiopiaโs internal problems will not solve them.
Scapegoating Eritrea will not fix governance failures. It will not eliminate corruption. It will not resolve political divisions. And it will not bring peace to communities suffering from conflict.
These are Ethiopiaโs internal challenges, and they require Ethiopian political solutions.
As President Isaias Afwerki has repeatedly argued, Eritrea gains nothing from an unstable and war-torn Ethiopia. A collapsing or permanently conflict-ridden neighbor is not in Eritreaโs interest.
So why keep looking toward Eritrea?
Why repeatedly attempt to turn Eritrea into the explanation for Ethiopiaโs internal difficulties?
And why expand the circle of confrontation when Ethiopia is already dealing with serious internal conflicts?
The international community should also pay close attention to the broader regional picture, including allegations and concerns surrounding Ethiopiaโs role in neighboring conflicts such as Sudan.
The danger is obvious.
When a government cannot resolve internal problems, there is always a temptation to redirect public anger toward an external enemy.
Eritrea must not become that scapegoat.
The international community should therefore send a clear message: maximum restraint is necessary, but that message must be directed particularly and explicitly at Abiy Ahmed and his government, whose decisions can determine whether tensions escalate or de-escalate.
Eritrea has every right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Peace does not mean surrendering sovereignty.
Dialogue does not mean negotiating away territory.
And restraint does not mean weakness.
Eritreans want peace. Eritrea wants peace.
But peace must be based on respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and international law.
The world should demand evidence before accepting accusations, demand restraint before conflict escalates, and demand accountability from those making the threats.
Abiy Ahmed should be urged to exercise maximum restraint before it is too late.
Because once another war begins, propaganda cannot stop the bullets.

Potemkin Party's characteristic behaviour of speaking with a forked tongue is again in full display.
In a Press Statement issued by the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry today in an apparent reaction to the El-Alamien Declaration, the PP pays lip-service to the pursuit of "peaceful engagement, mutual respect, and regional cooperation". It further urges "all regional actors to address shared challenges through constructive dialogue, partnership, and adherence to the principles of good neighborliness...".
But this is the crux of the matter.
The Potemkin Party's duplicitous antics aside, the prevailing tension that has gripped the Horn of Africa region emanates precisely from its perilous acts perpetrated over the past years and that violate international law and the prospects and opportunities of healthy regional cooperation.
Indeed, these are the poignant facts:
1. Ethiopia enjoys unfettered access to all ports in the Horn of Africa. In what can be termed as a "buyers market", it has extensive latitude to enter into mutually beneficial commercial agreements with all the coastal countries concerned. But the Potemkin Party chose to violate international law and the principles of good neighborliness to pursue an agenda of aggression and war against Eritrea to "acquire sovereign access to the sea".
2. As spelled out in previous public statements by its Foreign Ministry, the invasion of the Eritrean port of Assab must include the southern coastal zone too. In the PP's convoluted logic: "without the protective depth offered by the Dahlak islands, Assab remains an exposed coastal facility vulnerable to hostile naval power... any enduring arrangement for Ethiopia must therefore consider a dual reality: access to the coast and the strategic depth required to protect that access".
3. Similarly, the Potemkin Party has fomented unnecessary and avoidable tensions with Somalia and Sudan through willful acts that breach international law and impede regional cooperation. The illicit MOU that it signed with Somaliland in flagrant breach of Somalia's sovereignty and territorial integrity; the all-rounded support that it continues to provide to the RSF under the bidding of the UAE are deplorable acts that have jeopardized regional peace and security.
Finally, Ethiopia's insinuation that some geographic proximity to the Red Sea entitles it with the rights and responsibilities of the littoral States is too ludicrous and hollow in purely legal terms to merit response.
Look at this public lie.
They cut the original video of Eritrean soldiers celebrating Martyrsโ Day on Eritrean soil, then presented the edited clip as if those men were prisoners. That is not a mistake. That is a deliberate distortion.
This is the pattern: manufacture a story, broadcast it, then use it to blame Eritrea and other countries for Ethiopiaโs own failure to keep internal peace. Lying is not an accident here. It has become a habit, a political method, and a culture.
The original footage exists. The location is Eritrea. The occasion is Martyrsโ Day. Changing those facts in public does not change reality.

Genociders, pedophilers & expansionists from Epstein files, who have previously bombarded #Eritrea with cluster bombs & napalm bombs with z help of Trojan horses of successive Ethiopian (Now Utopia) gov'ts have tried everything in their disposal to destroy Eritrea in hiding and have used z media to tarnish its image, but they cannot hide from the grim truth: Eritrea is not for $ale; let them dream!

Potemkin Party's signature trademark remains boringly the same: a stale chorus of historic revisionism; and, incessant threats of war and invasion in pursuit of "sovereign sea access and maritime power".
These provocative pronouncements are at times sprinkled with double-speak to hoodwink the international community.
Indeed, the language and tone of aggression seemed to have been toned down at the last BRICS Summit while at home, Potemkin Party's senior Ministers and top Military Generals were simultaneously doubling down on the urgency of "correcting a historical mistake without further delay".
The fact is: for the Potemkin Party, the constant variables in the last three years have been, and remain:
- blatant revision of Eritrea's ancient and contemporary history;
- brazen denial and denigration of Eritrea's Statehood coupled with incessant saber-rattling for acquiring "access to the sea".
The Potemkin Party's aggressive policy intent/mindset is again plainly illustrated in yesterday's X post by its official news agency - Fana Media Corporation, Arabic version.

#Eritrea
She claims to be Eritrean but cannot speak Tigrinya and speaks only Amharic. That should raise serious questions about the credibility of her claim.
European governments must stop blanket asylum policies. Verify identity and nationality case by case. Eritrean identity should not become a shortcut to asylum.

ERITREA โ The case of Bruke Desalagne, a 33-year-old man convicted of raping a man in his 60s outside of St Johnโs Church in Harrow, North London, has drawn renewed attention after claims emerged that he is actually an ๐๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐จ๐ฉ๐ข๐๐ง ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ who had presented himself as "Eritrean" when seeking asylum in the UK.
Desalagne was found guilty at Harrow Crown Court.
The case has also prompted concern within the Eritrean community in the UK, amid claims that his alleged use of an Eritrean identity had unfairly damaged the community's reputation.
The Eritrean Embassy said on 19 August that Desalagne was not a registered Eritrean citizen. In a statement condemning the attack, the embassy also raised concerns about what it described as cases in which people from other African countries make asylum claims using Eritrean identities.
The latest claims about Desalagne's nationality emerged after members of the public reportedly identified him on Facebook and reviewed material on his profile (https://t.co/O0AcMVZlJY).
According to those accounts, his profile featured an image of Ethiopian leader Abiy Ahmed, as well as photographs of himself and posts written in Amharic, most expressing how proud Ethiopian he is, with no apparent signs of connections to Eritrea. None!
The case has nevertheless renewed debate within the Eritrean community over the verification of asylum claims and the potential consequences of individuals falsely presenting themselves as Eritrean in the UK.

Ethiopians have long known that several senior generals in today's military were once POWs in #Eritrea, while few others were also captured by the TPLF in Tigray, including Abiy Ahmed's Chief of Staff, Field Marshal Berhanu Jula.
Then comes ๐๐ญ. ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐, who recently denied ever being a POW in Eritrea and challenged his captors to come forward with evidence. ๐ซฃ
Apparently, the evidence does not have to come from his former captors.
๐๐๐ฃ. ๐๐๐ง. ๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐, himself a former Eritrean POW currently serving as a senior government official in Abiy Ahmed's administration, has already publicly recounted the story behind how he got the nick name "Bacha" while in captivity and how he adopted it as his first name later.
"Atinkut" Debele was his original name, allegedly.
According to Abadula, โAtinkutโ was sick for an extended period while in captivity. After recovering, he volunteered for a less menial task, such as preparing powdered milk for his fellow prisoners. He apparently added so much water that he ruined the mixture. A fellow POW then mocked him with, โแ แแ แจแ แจแจแ (Anbechebechkew)โ, essentially telling him he had watered it down beyond recognition. Since then, the prisoners started calling him with the nickname โBachaโ in short.
And just like that, "Atinkut" became Bacha and he eventually adopted that nickname as his first name after being released from captivity in 1991.
Today, the same Bacha Debele got a promotion to Lieutenant General rank and now serving as #Ethiopia's ambassador to #Kenya.
So, General, why go looking for evidence from the Eritrean captors when one of the prisoners who was there has already told the story?
Potemkin Party's official media outlets - Ethiopian News Agency (ENA), EBC, and FANA among others - are yet again on overdrive mode this week to churn out, particularly in their domestic broadcasts, fallacious and incendiary vitriol against Eritrea on a daily basis.
The stale and obsolete themes, the inflammatory and provocative packaging, remain the same; i.e.
1. Denigration and denial of Eritrea's hard-won independence that was achieved through precious sacrifices in Africa's longest liberation struggle when its right to decolonization was suppressed in the 1940s on the altar of "overarching" geopolitical interests of some global powers;
2. Repeated and bellicose pronouncements, accompanied by incessant saber-rattling, on the Potemkin Party's inexorable quest for "sovereign access to the sea... through negotiations if possible and force if necessary";
3. Rationalization of a "wider war that would expand to Eritrea's Dahlak Islands for reasons of strategic depth", in order to project and guarantee, in its convoluted views, "viable maritime power";
4. Banal and spurious "economic arguments" for rationalizing war and invasion in order to avoid exorbitant "port fees"; etc.
These are red lines and political blasphemies that should not be countenanced by any normal country.
The sad fact is these are normative for a callous and reckless Potemkin Party that seems to specialize in incubating endless conflicts both at home and in the wider Horn of Africa region (illicit MoU with Somaliland; active and surrogate role in the exacerbation of the conflict in Sudan etc.).
