The spring commencement ceremonies may be over, but we're still celebrating @FloridaState's largest class yet! Yudan Chen, who earned his doctorate in chemistry through @ChemistryFsu, shares the most meaningful part of his time at FSU.

"Achieving significant progress and a major breakthrough in my primary research project led to a deeper understanding of the long-debated failure mechanisms in solid-state batteries. This four-year effort was recognized by the battery research community and published in the top journal in the field of materials science, Nature Materials."

Postgraduation, Chen is pursuing a career in research and development within the battery industry as a materials scientist, optimizing battery performance, longevity and safety. You can read more about his published research here: https://t.co/TFX3gJ1JX0

"The most meaningful moments during my studies were the opportunities to work with fellow graduate students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures as well as renowned scientists at the @NationalMagLab to learn exceptional techniques for materials research."
