We and our partner team have been using a simpler drivetrain to get autonomous basics coded, and we’re pretty proud of how it’s coming along!

Busy day! Now that we decided on which way to pick up blocks, it was time to design ways to attach that assembly. Meanwhile our coders and our partner team used sensors to really lock in the beginning of our “duck side” autonomous path! #omgrobots

Amazing beautiful day at our “Race the Robot” booth at the @villageofgreendale Step Up to Better Health Fun Run The kids loved racing Marvin! The event was huge and they were lined up for their chance. While they raced, we talked @FTCTeams , @FIRSTweets and #robotics

Spent the day helping the #firedepartment with #firesafety day. We ran an obstacle course, helped kids use the fire hose, and cleaned up after. We love the rescue dummy made out of hoses! #communityservice fun! It’s great that @FTCTeams encourages us to help the community!

Day 1 of STEM exploration with ALIEN at Highland View! We switched our spaghetti and marshmallow tower building to craft-stick building, made gluten-free-candy catapults to study energy storage and release, and designed devices to protect from impact energy! So much #STEMfun !

Today was the long awaited Proto-Dome! 5 intakes enter, one intake leaves! We our intakes to work, compared speed/agility/durability and think we have a winner! For such a simple task it’s surprising how many ways there are to accomplish it! #building #engineering #robots

Electricity day at our STEM Exploration class! Made a game to learn how electricity works, made lemon batteries, lit LEDs using lemon power, made dough circuits, and Snap Circuits. So much #stemfun We love that @ftcteams is #morethanrobots truly: @firstinspireswi FIRST inspires!

DOUBLE TEAM UPDATE! While one team built a drivetrain and got a driving code working, our other team built FOUR prototype intakes and battled to see whose intake will take the cake! Tons of #engineeringfun !! It is so great to have @ftcteams robo-friends to robot with!

Day 2 @mkemakerfaire was awesome! We built so many foil boats, paper bridges and designed SO many ball drop devices! And it’s always awesome talkin’ bots with other @ftcteams @knackrobotics @ftcteam9956 and @usmrobotics !
