Personal opinions. System designer @arkanestudios. currently working on Blade. worked on Deathloop, Dishonored 2, Doto, 1112 series, shufflepuck cantina...
Dungeon Master paved the way for real-time dungeon crawlers, and Eye of the Beholder turned it into a highway.
Eye of the Beholder II: The Legend of Darkmoon turned 35 this year, and the intro alone still gives me nerd-chills. Absolute timeless classic.
The 90s were full of truly excellent RPGs. Would you rank this one among the top 3 of the decade?
Ultima VII: The Black Gate (Origin Systems, 1992) was one of the most complex, longest, and best RPGs I ever played. Its world is absolutely massive, and only if you're into deep lore and long texts/stories (and being a rather patient player), this epic classic is for you.
In an interview, Richard Garriott said that Ultima VII was "the most masterfully executed of the Ultima series". He added that the game was, along with Ultima IV, his favorite of the entire franchise.
I couldn't agree more. Ultima IV was very unique, and Ultima VII was the most ambitious and biggest (I wasn't a fan of the later ones anymore). Which was your favorite of the series?
Ultima VII Revisited // v0.2.1c, the Trinsic Demo
I must say, walking around Trinsic like this is pretty wild. So much love in this project from @ViridianGames and everyone involved. It's making magic happen!
Very excited to watch as it continues to progress
Let me be clear for those who are not already familiar with their work, Owlcat would be the PERFECT studio to take on Baldur's Gate 4. There's literally no other group I would want to see do it more.
Premieres tomorrow:
The latest and last episode of our Dev Playthrough of Dishonored.
It was great and emotional at times too.
Thank you for all the love.
With the amazing @mitmitman, @jlmonnet and @GaGzZzYT

XBOX seeks to level up with new ways of play and Hollywood adaptations
“Another is Marvel's Blade, the game based on the half-vampire Daywalker from the comics, made famous by Wesley Snipes' rendition on the big screen.”
“I'm not at liberty to say when [we'll see more],” Howard teases, “but I saw some stuff just yesterday [on May 21] and the folks at Arkane [Studios, the developers] are doing a really, really great job.”

Had a blast spending this moment reminiscing about our dear Dishonored after a decade with lovely folks. As a wise man said "the only thing better than making new friends is keeping the ones you have". Thanks so much for having me @rafcolantonio. Spoiler: I got to do it again! 😊
