This Sunday in London, a crime will take place. The UK government has refused to stop it.
The British public is furious. Thousands have prepared to take to the streets. So should you.
🚨The British government must secure the release of 14 British citizens kidnapped by Israeli Occupation Forces from the Global Sumud Flotilla, including rights activist Cerie Bullivant.
A court in Israel says the two volunteers abducted in international waters from a Gaza-bound aid flotilla will not be released.
The lawyer for Brazilian national Thiago Avila and Spanish Saif Abu Keshek says they have been abused in custody.
Brazil and Spain say their abduction and detention are illegal.
Human rights activist Greta Thunberg has condemned Israel’s illegal interception of more than 20 civilian vessels from the Global Flotilla in international waters, saying around 200 participants were taken over 1,000 kilometres from Gaza during the operation.
In a video statement, she said many of those detained were later released in Crete after being injured, with some requiring hospital treatment, and described coordination between Israeli and Greek authorities.
She said at least two activists remain in Israeli custody after being forcibly taken to Israel, where she stated they are being tortured, and that they are being held on fabricated accusations linked to their Palestine solidarity activism.
Thunberg called for their immediate release and said their detention reflects broader practices against Palestinians held without charge.
She urged Sweden, Spain and Brazil to intervene, and called on the international community to act urgently.
According to Adalah and confirmed by the Embassy of Brazil in Israel, flotilla activists Thiago de Avila and Saif Abukeshek, kidnapped by Israeli occupation naval forces in international waters on April 30, have been beaten, blindfolded, held in stress positions, and interrogated by Shin Bet.
De Avila lost consciousness twice and faces possible Mossad interrogation on "terrorist" suspicion. Both are on hunger strike and are due in court on May 3.
Tonight, the world is witnessing the export of the Israeli military’s doctrine of engineered abandonment. In a violent raid in international waters, Israeli naval forces have intercepted, boarded, and systematically disabled various boats of the Global Sumud Flotilla.
After smashing engines and destroying navigation arrays, the military retreated—intentionally leaving hundreds of civilians stranded on powerless, broken vessels directly in the path of a massive approaching storm. Furthermore, communications with multiple vessels have been jammed, severing their ability to coordinate or signal for help.
While flotilla participants face a calculated death trap at sea, the people of Gaza remain the primary targets of a relentless, years-long campaign of starvation and slaughter. The logic being deployed tonight is identical: the Israeli state creates the conditions for death, sabotages the means of survival, and then waits for "nature" or "circumstance" to finish the job.
I'm on the scene outside the HQ of a bizarre Ahmadi cult group in Crewe, England, where Cheshire Police have raided the premises of the non-Muslim cult and have made several arrests related to serious sexual offences, forced marriage and modern slavery.
I've reported on the group previously for 5Pillars over concerns their odd online behaviour may inspire Islamophobia in the area against ordinary Muslims. @5Pillarsuk
More to come...
I am a doctor. A Palestinian. A British citizen.

My legal team has challenged these restrictions.
Hello and peace be upon you all.
As some of you may be aware, I was arrested for the fifth time on 25 March, charged, remanded overnight, and released on bail.
For tweets.
It has become difficult to determine what words or phrases will result in the police knocking on my door and placing me in handcuffs.
But I am not the story. I am one voice out of billions in what is humanity's greatest fight today.
While the genocide in Gaza continues and spreads to Lebanon, we in Britain are criminalised for words.
This Friday, I will appear at the Old Bailey court in London for my first hearing. This is the start of yet another battle for our basic freedoms in the UK.
Thank you all for your support. I have missed you.
Tomorrow 17th April, is the day we rise up and stand with our sisters and brothers in the Israeli illegal concentration camps! FREE THE PALESTINIAN HOSTAGES
Nelson Mandela's grandson, Nkosi Zwelivelile, Mandela says the Global Sumud flotilla is about to sail toward the Gaza Strip with the largest mission yet.
He calls on those who have not been allocated places on the boats to join the Global Sumud convoy that will travel by land.
Journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin has been detained in Kuwait for six weeks and is facing trial before a special tribunal over social media posts related to the Iran war, amid a wider crackdown on online speech in the region.
The award-winning American-born Kuwaiti journalist, known for his work with major international outlets including Al Jazeera English, The New York Times, and PBS Frontline, has been held since March 3 with limited access to legal counsel.
Rights groups, including CPJ, have called for his release, warning that national security laws are being used to silence journalists.
60 Palestinians were being transported by the Israel Defense Forces in a garbage truck; Israel is oppressing innocent Palestinians, and the world remains silent.
