@DaGeecheeGamer Sadly it was "Built" to be that way. Our government destroyed communities of many forms and built people up to be more individualistic, selfish, to not sacrifice comfort and convenience.
But it has to start somewhere. Defeatist mindset is what these corpos want you to have.
I was going to say the main reason I won’t do this is because one week isn’t enough. Sony can easily recoup whatever losses they made in that week next month. If you REALLY want to force change in Sony, do more drastic things like boycotting and disengaging with your ps5 for a single month so that it actually reflects in Sony’s quarterly reports. Working with your region’s lawsuits will also be a big help.
Yall gon think I’m being extra, but the comments are exactly why the US is doomed. People literally cannot stand the idea of sacrificing comfort and convenience for the greater good, ever. There is no united front. We are NOT our ancestors indeed lol
People like Emma Schols are the ones who should be receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars. People like Emma Schols are the ones who should have millions of women supporting them
This past week has shown us a seriously disturbing reality, but I like to believe many people still have good in them
Emma Schols is a hero and an incredible human being we should all have deep admiration for
I’m so tired of millions of people celebrating abusers, murderers, and even sympathizing with and relating to them… Emma Schols is an absolute hero and an incredible reminder of how truly remarkable we can be for who we love, how incredible a mother should be.
There is nothing more beautiful to me than an incredible mother or an incredible father, and I am so tired of them being sidelined in favor of pure self-preservation, self-absorption, and absolute narcissism
Literally all of you wonderful mothers out there—you are a shining example to young women, and even to men, that there is still something worth fighting for. You give strength to men who are losing hope. You give your children something to aspire to and something to protect. In a time like right now, you are so incredible for everything you do and everything you sacrifice
Considering what we’ve all been seeing lately, I really think this is something a little bit healing. Emma, and all you mothers out there who would and do sacrifice so much for your children—
you are incredible
Men, it’s women like Emma Schols that we fight for. Not Lindsay, or the many other examples I’m sure we've all seen. There are wonderful, incredible women and children who need you. Who need you to strive for and become the best version of yourself for. I promise you they exist. All the noise—you deserve better than that—but don’t let the noise make you abandon people like Emma who need you
@swhat03 It's more embarrassing to admit you can't get along with the people that raised you. Or to think you have to move out because society tells you to. There's literally no logic to it.
It's very common in Asian cultures to live at home until you're married.
There’s nothing wrong with staying with your parents as an adult as long as you don’t plan on making that your permanent residence. People fall on hard times and unexpected things happen. The problem is when grown adults move back in with their parents or continue to stay with them with absolutely no plans on getting their own place
Is $60,000 in the year 2000 economically equivalent to $60,000 in 2026?
You’d be amazed at how far that amount should have grown and how far it has fallen short in reality.
