@AnfieldWatch The inside Liverpool people are walking around booking flights to Saudi Arabia with So much certain regret everyday just regretting everything according too talkRegretSport. but at least they’re certain about listening to offers this end of summer
We played exhilarating football whilst winning domestic, European and World trophies and topping 91 points 3 times in 4 seasons against peak City.
You’re set-piecing your way to 2nd with the Swedish Geoff Horsfield up front. Bitch, we are not the same.
I’m certainly not the biggest fan of the Burke’s but I do believe the young man is not portrayed fairly in Catherine Connolly’s account of what happened.
I didn’t hear him shouting at her. He didn’t talk over anybody and respectfully asked if he could ask a question. He then started and asked in a respectful manner until the other students mocked him and prevented him being heard. Catherine Connolly chose not to answer him and smiled as he was shouted down by other students and she watched him being removed. If she truly believed in free speech she should have asked other students to allow him to speak. Her account of what happened is completely different to what actually happened.
Why always us!!! @kirkbymark@dar__88 zero unwarranted ridiculous criticism of city when they spend a few quid or legoheadz stoke when they spend a billion…very strange
Florian Wirtz has played perfectly fine in every game
Bournemouth was a tough game as per
Newcastle was a war
He played reasonably well against the best defence in world football vs Arsenal
And was excellent 2nd half against a low block v Burnley
Tough game today too
Similar misfortune…yes if Lego head ever broke 90 points and then twice lost the league to pep by 1 point
No where near similar
2 FA cup and 1 billion spent 👏
Arteta has constructed a flawless rebuild at Arsenal.
It took a little longer than ideal, but that was out of his control when the club failed to deliver on big attacking signings.
Yet, at 'end-game', Liverpool happens to be off the scale!
Similar misfortune to Klopp with Pep.
"The Promised Land for us all now feels just an administrative process away and, my word, do these Liverpool players deserve enormous credit for that.
"There is more to be done. There is always more to be done. Football is always Shankly's ever-flowing river. None of this is about complacency, but instead about craving moments we haven't shared since 1990 and - if you were born in 1981 like your correspondent here - these are moments you have never entirely had and realised. Even in 2020 we had to wait.
"But me and you, we're good at waiting. We see waiting as an act of love."
