@StevenVent101 I say it all the time. Give the players a tool box as many tools as possible. The skill or craft is knowing what tool to use when and why.

A blend of both is important and to differentiate for each player it’s not a one size fits all approach thats why you need both.

A term often banded about. What is it though?

Why?

Beneficial for a number reasons.

1. Causes confusion

2. Pins the opposition

3. Creates space

4. Penetrative runs

⚽️ C O M P A C T N E S S ⚽️

A term to describe being “close together” defensively.

Remaining compact is really important as it prevents the opposition from playing through you, between you or behind you, making it hard for the opposition to attack.
