IOMMU is required to be used by multiple softwares and has been for years. People are only pissed about it today because when enabled they can’t cheat in a video game.

@Orthus_zach @ManaByte The device isn’t bricked. It is still totally useable. All you have to do to be able to use the device is to disable IOMMU in the BIOS and the DMA is back to working properly. You just won’t be able to play any games that require IOMMU to be active.
